Participated in a homeless project, walking the streets of London opened up my eyes to the poverty in our city and just how appreciative the people were.

Been Part of this Trust for little over a year, an amazing trust to be part of for the work dedicated towards humanity.

Growing up, I always wanted to do something for the community but never knew where to start. A friend recommended me to this wonderful start up homeless charity that I am now part of. It is great to be part of a charity where we work on donating and handling over essential items to the homeless. Working with Life in London Trust has been good fun and they are a great group of people providing support to the London Community

I started volunteering with life in London trust 2 months ago. Having done previous charity work in the past I understand the struggles and hard work that goes into logistics, admin and organisation. After meeting LILT founder Reena I could see just how much love and passion has gone into the project. Organising the monthly homeless outreach work takes a lot of dedication and endless work, from fundraising to logistics. Whilst volunteering and seeing first hand the difference it has made to people’s lives, I know just how important the work of LILT is. The pandemic has meant so many more people are living homeless in London, with very little support. I am so honoured to be able to help LILT, it has given me a chance to make a difference to an issue I feel so strongly about.
