Homeless Projects 2026

Are carried out each month on the first Saturday of the month. When Life in London Trust was first launched we were only able to do our homeless projects once every quarter. With the charity growing more and more every year with more volunteers joining, more interest from the local community, and more donations coming in. We are now able to extend our service and do monthly homeless projects.

Easter Egg Project

At Easter, we once again donate Easter Eggs and arts and craft kits to Children’s homes and hospices every year, We have donated approximately 2,000 Easter eggs by reaching out on social media and the generosity of the general public and our sponsors.

Christmas Project

Christmas is one of our busiest times of the year where we complete 6 projects.

• We collect toys for children in hospices. We have collected over 10000 gifts in the five years we have been launched.
• We collect gifts for children and young people who reside in homes and safe houses.
• We hand out survival packs for men and women who have experienced domestic violence and reside in hostels, we are able to organise 70 survival packs each, from the donations we receive each year. With the raising awareness of our trust we aim to exceed this number.
• We distribute food hampers to the elderly, 30 Food Hampers are delivered to our elderly friends who are alone at Christmas. We also expanded this and delivered food items throughout the pandemic year when help was required and supporting them with everyday support.
• We hold a Christmas Homeless Project where our homeless friends are given Christmas gifts along with their usual items. We collect Christmas gifts to those who have suffer with mental health and every gift is catered to there needs.
